Kodiak Legends Lodge is located in Larsen Bay—a small, remote town roughly 60 miles southwest of the city of Kodiak. We are efficiently accessible only by airplane or boat, as there are no roadways through Kodiak’s untouched wilderness. While many other Alaska fishing lodges offer an off-the-beaten-path appeal, Kodiak Legends Lodge truly offers the Ultimate Life Experience.

Kodiak Island is directly south of the Alaska mainland, roughly 250 miles from Anchorage, approximately an hour and ten minute flight on either Alaska Airlines or Ravn.  The body of water separating Kodiak from the mainland is the Shelikof Strait, named after the Russian merchant who founded the first colony in Russian America (Alaska). Directly across the Shelikof is Katmai National Park, famous for its brown bears and spectacular scenery, with stunning glacier lakes and untouched wilderness.

No matter if you consider yourself a novice or an expert, if you love fishing you will love it here. To make your stay at our beautiful, Alaskan luxury wilderness lodge even better, we offer world-class accommodations. So, not only do you get to experience the great outdoors, you get to experience fishing at its finest, delicious homemade meals, and all kinds of activities. If you are ready for a vacation filled with adventure, relaxation, and good times, book a trip to Kodiak Legends Lodge. Whether you are searching for Alaska fishing lodges for taking advantage of a long weekend or staying for an entire week, we cannot wait to welcome you to our incredible fishing lodge in Kodiak, Alaska.
